The artist's largest single blockprint, Michigan's peninsulas and several islands are represented in a variety of intricately carved leaves of the state: red oak, white pine, cedar, pin oak, walnut, sycamore, maple, birch, cherry, and others, plus a few acorns, pinecones, and black walnuts tossed in.
Printed in black ink on a buttery yellow, blush, sage green, aqua, amber, and cornflower blue Tiziano paper; also printed in lush gold ink on deep navy and black.
